About Art-2-Heart

Artist Dana Venetiarose was born in Rome, Italy but moved to the Peak District in the UK in 1988. She has painted at intervals throughout her life and recently completed a course of study in Art and Design and obtained a degree in Fine Art with the University of Staffordshire.

She is an eclectic Artist inspired by thoughts and ideas, but she also enjoys capturing the amazing scenery of the Peak District National Park on canvas. Between producing painting from her personal vision and emotions, she also enjoys taking commissions where the client suggests the subject and Dana develops the idea in a variety of mediums, shapes and form.

Dana works in a variety of mediums, including encaustic - painting with molten wax. The brilliance, fluidity and versatility of this medium is unequal to any other. She is currently running workshops and courses in Encaustic Painting.
